Leadership
+ The Board of Directors is elected annually by the members of the MPROA. The Board is responsible for all decisions regarding the association’s programs, finances, and operations. Officers and Directors serve two-year terms and may be reelected to successive terms. The Board meets monthly at a location somewhere in Minnesota, usually on the first Monday of the month.

Reserve Commander
St. Paul Police Department
+ Mary is a 25 year veteran with the St. Paul Police Reserves and has been in the top five in hours since she joined the Reserves, generally in excess of 500 hours donated each year. Mary has been the event commander with St. Paul Police Reserves, since 2000. As an event commander Mary has been responsible in overseeing the planning and implimentation of all events involving the St. Paul Reserves. In 2009 this was in excess of 500 events. Mary is also the head traffic instructor for the SPPD which includes the Regular officers, Reserves, Explorers, and St Paul Parks Security. When not volunteering Mary enjoys watching Motorsports, walking her dogs, and crotcheting blankets for children that are hospitalized with terminal illness. Professionally, Mary is employed by the City of St. Paul as an Office Assistant II in the St. Paul Police Department Records Unit.

New Ulm Police Department
+ Greg has been a Reserve Officer with the New Ulm Police Department since 2005. Prior to joining the New Ulm Police Reserves he served as a Reserve Officer with the St. Peter Police Department, Eagle Lake Police Department, and Madison Lake Police Department. Greg is a member with the Midwest Gang Investigators Association and has experience as a Volunteer Firefighter. Professionally, Greg is employed by a government agency within the state. + Mike has been a Reserve Officer with the Maplewood Police Dept. since 2006. Prior to his position with Maplewood, Mike was a Reserve Deputy with the Ramsey County Sheriff's Dept. from 1996 to 2007. Mike maintains memberships with the Midwest Gang Investigators Association, the National Major Gang Task Force, and the East Coast Gang Investigators Association. Professionally, Mike is employed with a government agency in the Twin City area. When not working or volunteering, Mike enjoys law enforcement patch collecting, networking and traveling the country. Reserve Officer
Brooklyn Park Police Department
+ Debra has been a Reserve Officer with the Brooklyn Park Police Department since 2008. In addition to her regular Reserve duties, she is a Field Training Officer and Student Advisor to the new Reserves joining the unit. Debra is also a member of Reserve Police Officers Association and National Reserve Law Officers Association. She comes to us with previous board experience, having served on 3 other boards in the past 15 years. Professionally, Debra is employed by an engineering consulting firm as a senior electrical controls designer and project coordinator. + Gero is currently a Reserve Sergeant with the New Brighton Police Department where he has served for the past 10 years -- two of those as Officer of the Year.
