Donor Program

The Minnesota Police Reserve Officers Association provides the people of Minnesota an opportunity to support reserve police officers and reserve deputy sheriffs through its Donor Program. Utilizing the services of a professional fundraising consultant, Xentel, Inc., the MPROA asks concerned citizens and businesses to support programs the benefit reserve officers with a financial contribution. It is through the generous donations of thousands of Minnesotans that the MPROA is able to fund important programs that provide needed training and assistance to Minnesota’s volunteer law enforcement officers.  The Board of Directors places considerable importance on spending these funds as prudently and effectively as possible.

Xentel is a publicly-traded company (Xentel DM Incorporated - TSX Venture Exchange: XDM) and is a nationally recognized leader in fundraising assistance for nonprofit organizations.  Xentel has earned high marks for its business practices and is highly regarded by law enforcement and public safety organizations.

The Board of Directors works closely with Xentel and government regulators, including the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General, to ensure that the association’s fundraising efforts are of the very highest degree of integrity and professionalism and are in full compliance with state and federal law. The MPROA has received very few complaints or negative comments in response to the FY2004 and FY2005 fundraising campaigns.
