Committees

+
The MPROA has five committees
comprised of association members charged with overseeing a
specific aspect of association business and making
recommendations to the Board of Directors. Committees
must meet at least quarterly or more frequently at the call
of the committee chairperson. Committee members are
appointed by the Board of Directors to serve one-year terms
and can be reappointed for subsequent terms.

Conference
Committee
The Conference
Committee has the monumental responsibility of planning and
coordinating the MPROA Spring Conference as well as other
major events hosted by the MPROA. The Committee begins
planning every fall to make the next conference even better
than the last. Mitch Aleckson is the Board liaison to the
Conference Committee.

Programs
Committee
The Programs
Committee has oversight of the Association’s many training,
support, and recognition programs. Committee members listen
to suggestions and comments from members and evaluate the
success of activities and events to determine how the MPROA
can best serve its members. Vice President Jerad Hoff
is the Board liaison to the Programs Committee.

Services Committee
The Member
Services Committee is responsible for ensuring that the
MPROA is meeting its most important goal: serving the needs
of members. The Committee is the “Customer Service
Desk” of the MPROA, listening to members and making
recommendations to the Board of Directors.
Additionally, the Committee oversees the administration of
membership benefits. The Vice President of the MPROA
is the Board liaison to the Member Services Committee.
