MNPROA expresses it's condolences

On October 24, 2009 Reserve Deputy Mike Wilken of the Ramsey County Sheriff's Dept. was directing traffic at a detail in Maplewood when he was struck by a vehicle.
Reserve Deputy Wilken was transported to Regions Hospital where he passed away this morning.

The MNPROA expresses it's condolences to the family of Reserve Deputy Wilken and the Ramsey County Sheriff's Dept. for their tragic loss.

The visitation will be Thursday from 4 - 8 at Bradshaw Funeral Home at 4600 Greenhaven Dr. in Vadnais Heights. Dress uniform is requested.

On Friday morning, there will be a family service only at the funeral home from 8:30 to 10 AM. Following that service, a procession will depart for the church including some squads.

The funeral will be Friday at 11 AM at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 900 Stillwater Rd., Mahtomedi. Anyone who will be attending the funeral service should be there no later than 10:30 AM for seating. Dress uniform recommended as well. The church is very large.

The burial is scheduled to be at the Newport Cemetery. No further information is available.
